Car Parking

We are currently investigating new sites for the Park & Ride. Please return to this page nearer the time for the up to date parking arrangements.

PARK & RIDE - CASH Preferred as mobile signal is poor.

PARK & RIDE facility. The car park will be at the cricket ground (EX35 6JH) in the Valley of Rocks. https://what3words.com/exhaling.subtitle.chairs
Please follow the signs from Lynton. The charge will be £5 per car and then the Ilfracombe Community Transport bus will take you and your passengers into Lynton.

The bus run will commence at 9.00am from the car park into Lynton. The last run from Lynton will be at 5.30pm.

We strongly recommend that you use this car park as parking in Lynton and Lynmouth itself is limited. The bus will take you to Lynton where you can catch the Cliff Railway down to Lynmouth or walk down the footpath.

The ticket price does NOT include the Cliff Railway or entry to the show.

Anybody parking in the public car park at the Valley of Rocks (normal parking charges via the machine) will be able to use the bus for £1 per passenger as long as there is room. Priority is given to Park & Ride customers.

Dogs on leads will be allowed on the bus at the driver's discretion and as long as they do not sit on the seats.

Disabled parking will be available in the normal car parks in Lynmouth. We can offer a disabled drop off point at the entrance to the Manor Green but we don't have the space to accommodate any disabled parking on site. The buses can accommodate fold up wheel chairs. If you are unable to transfer then we recommend that the wheelchair and user is dropped off at the bus stop near the Town Hall (Lee Road, Lynton EX35 6BS) and you return to the Park & Ride as above.

Please be aware that some of the roads in Lynton will be closed to traffic during the day to allow for display cars to be parked in Lee Road and Queen Street.

Exmoor Coaster Bus - is now running daily from Minehead and Ilfracombe into Lynmouth - the bus stop is opposite the Lynmouth show ground. Here is a link to the timetable https://www.firstbus.co.uk/som.../plan-journey/timetables...

HOW TO GET TO THE PARK & RIDE -
From Blackmoor Gate, follow the A39 to Barbrook Filling Station & turn left towards Lynton, turn left up Station Hill, along Crossmead & then turn left into Longmead towards the Valley of Rocks and you will be directed into the nearest available car park.
If you are coming from the Minehead direction, drive up Lynmouth hill and take the first right turn to Lynton. On your left is a public car park. If this is full, take the next left and follow the signs and marshall's directions to get to the Park & Ride.

The car clubs shown on the map are subject to change depending on the number of entries on the day.
